A windshield that has dirt or other debris can make the light scatter, and thus it can make it very difficult to see. Even something as simple as the fog from your breath in the morning can scatter the light and give off a terrible glare. In order to keep your windshield glare free, you are going to want to make sure that your window is clean at all times. Most household cleaners will actually not do the job. In fact, many household cleaners will make the problem worse. Make sure that you get a windshield cleaner that is specifically made for windshields.

A Good Window Tint

Another way that you will be able to combat a bad window glare is going to be a good window tint. It is highly recommended that you have a professional install your window tint, because they will be able to put the glare blocking tint on properly without any bubbles. The window tint is going to minimize the effect the sun has on your windshield. In fact, many of the tints that are put on cars now can actually reflect most of the lightwaves back the other direction.

Use An Anti Glare Solution

You may also want to treat your windshield with a really good anti glare solution. This type of solution will help your windshield stay clean once you have cleaned it. If the debris is not able to build up, then there will be nothing able to scatter the sunlight. Do not ever get caught behind the wheel with a terrible glare in your eyes. Take the simple steps to keep your windshield glare free.
